400g dark chocolate (50-70% cocoa)
400ml double cream
50g butter
50g caster sugar
Flavourings:
Rum and raisins
Orange liqueur
Mint
coffee
chopped nuts
Decoration:
chopped nuts
melted white chocolate or milk chocolate
grated chocolate
cocoa powder
- Break chocolate and butter into a large mixing bowl
- Place cream and sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
- Pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate and butter, stir gently until all chocolate and butter is melted.
- Seperate into different bowls for each desired flavour.
- Leave to set in a cool dry place over night.
- Roll into balls about an inch in diameter.
- Decorate how desired.
